Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Flip.com.sg, operated by Added Info Services (“AIS”). We provide products and services subject to the terms below. Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully. By accessing this Site, using our Services, or ordering Products, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please exit the Site and discontinue use of our Services.

Definitions
1. "Account" refers to a registered user account.
2. “AIS” refers to Added Info Services.
3. “Content” refers to all information on the Site (e.g. text, data, images).
4. “Customer” refers to any user who has made a purchase on the Site.
5. “Device” refers to any device used to access the Site.
6. “Product(s)” refers to textbooks and related physical items listed on the Site.
7. “Services” refers to online ordering, product information, and other features available on the Site.
8. “Site” refers to www.flip.com.sg.
Agreement
1. By using this Site, you warrant that:
  - You are at least 18 years old or have obtained parental consent.
  - All information provided is accurate and complete.
  - You agree to comply with these Terms.
2. AIS reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time by posting revised Terms on the Site. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Privacy
1. By using this Site, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Singapore).
Use of Site & Content
1. You may not:
  1. Copy, modify, or reproduce any part of the Site or its Content without prior written consent;
  2. Frame, mirror, link, spider, scrape, or otherwise access or use the Site or its Content for commercial purposes without consent; or
  3. Upload or transmit any content that is unlawful or infringes on intellectual property.
2. You may:
  1. Use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes; and
  2. View and order Products for your own use.
Intellectual Property
1. All rights in the Site, including trademarks, domain name and copyright belong to AIS.
2. The domain name on which the Site is hosted on is the sole property of AIS and you may not use or otherwise adopt a similar name for your own use.
Account & Membership
1. Registration is required to purchase Products. You agree to:
  1. Provide accurate personal information.
  2. Maintain the confidentiality of your account login and password.
  3. Accept responsibility for all activities conducted under your Account.
2. AIS reserves the right to suspend or terminate Accounts for misuse or breach of these Terms.
Purchase Terms
1. Order Finality: Orders cannot be cancelled once payment is made.
  1. An order placed on Flip.com.sg constitutes an offer to purchase the selected Products.
  2. Payment alone does not constitute acceptance of your order by AIS.
  3. The contract of sale is only formed when AIS sends you an Order Confirmation email accepting your order.
  4. AIS reserves the right to decline or cancel any order (with a full refund of any payment received) prior to Order Confirmation.
  5. Once an order is accepted and confirmed by AIS, it is final and cannot be cancelled by the customer.
2. Delivery: Delivery charges may apply. AIS is not responsible for failed deliveries caused by incorrect addresses provided by buyers. Additional charges may apply in such cases. Please refer to the Shipping Policy (Clause 8) for more details.
3. Processing Time: Processing time for orders, whether in-stocks or pre-orders, will be stated within the product listing.
4. Availability: All items are subject to availability.
5. Refund Policy: Products sold are subject to our Refund Policy (Clause 9–11)
Shipping Policy
1. Delivery Address
  1. Orders will be shipped to the delivery address provided at checkout.
  2. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the delivery address is correct.
  3. If an incorrect or invalid address is provided, additional delivery fees may apply to redeliver the order.
2. Failed Deliveries: If a delivery attempt fails due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided, or if the recipient is unavailable at the time of delivery:
  1. A $6 re-delivery surcharge may be imposed for each subsequent re-delivery attempt;
  2. the customer will be contacted to arrange the re-delivery and to process the surcharge; and
  3. orders will not be re-delivered until the surcharge is paid in full.
3. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to external factors.
4. Free delivery is only applicable to addresses in mainland Singapore, excluding Sentosa, Jurong Island & other restricted areas like military bases, free trade zones and Changi Airport.
Refund Policy (in-stock Physical Books)
1. Non-Returnable:Products sold are non-returnable, except in cases of:
  1. Incorrect item being delivered;
  2. Item damaged in transit;
  3. Item materially different from description; or
  4. Item is out of stock after payment was made.
2. Return Conditions: If the Customer seeks a refund pursuant to our Refund Policy, the request must be:
  1. submitted to cs@addedinfo.com.sg within 3 working days of delivery, with the:
    1. Order Reference Number;
    2. Reason for Refund; and
    3. Proof of damage (if applicable).
  2. the Product must be returned with its original delivery packaging (including any protective packaging and labels);
  3. the Customer will bear the cost of return shipping; and
  4. the Product must be in its original, unused condition.
3. Non-eligible return situations Refunds or exchanges will not be accepted in the following situations (including but not limited to):
  1. Incorrect shipping address provided by the customer;
  2. Incorrect purchase;
  3. Change of mind after purchase; and
  4. Request submitted after the 3 working day window.
4. Refund Process: Approved refunds will be made via PayNow to your mobile number within 14 working days upon receipt of the returned item. We will notify you once the refund is processed.
5. Rights Reserved: AIS reserves the right to:
  1. Inspect returned items before approving any refund or exchange; or
  2. Reject any return or refund requests that do not meet the above conditions.
Refund Policy (E-books):
E-books sold on Flip.com.sg are strictly non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for a different Product.
1. Once an e-book purchase is confirmed and fulfilled, the order is final.
Refund Policy (Pre-Orders):
Pre-ordered books are sold on a final-sale basis
1. Pre-orders cannot be cancelled, refunded, or exchanged once payment is made, unless:
  1. The title is cancelled by the publisher or supplier, or
  2. Flip is unable to fulfil the order (in which case a full refund will be issued).
2. Estimated delivery timelines for pre-orders are provided as a guide only and may be subject to change.
Limitation of Liability
1. The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. AIS makes no warranties regarding:
  1. Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the Site’s Content.
  2. Uninterrupted access or error-free operation.
  3. The absence of viruses or harmful components.
2. AIS will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site.
Disputes & Governing Law
1. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Singapore.
2. Any disputes will first be subject to confidential arbitration in Singapore. However, AIS reserves the right to seek injunctive relief in court for violations of intellectual property rights.
Changes to Terms
1. AIS may amend these Terms at any time by posting updates on the Site. Continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
